    My birth services include:

    - 1-2 prenatal meetings at agreed upon location such as your home. Together we will create a birth plan that supports your desires for your birth.

    -I will provide phone support in the months leading up to your birth, to answer questions, provide resources or professional referrals.

    -24/7 on call availability starting at 38 weeks gestation until delivery.

    -Phone support during early labor.

    -Continuous in person support during active labor; use of physical and emotional comfort measures during labor and birth.

    -Immediate post birth and breastfeeding support at birthing location.

    -One additional postpartum meeting your home.

  • Postpartum support

    My postpartum support includes:

    -emotional support for processing your birth experience.

    -Light housekeeping

    -Laundry

    -Cooking of delicious and nutrient dense meals.

    -Help caring for older children.

    -Overnight support

What is a DoulA?

The term doula is derived from an ancient greek word meaning “a woman who serves”

Doulas provide emotional support and coaching to women and their families, during and after childbirth.A doula stays by the laboring woman’s side throughout her labor and ultimately act as a birth advocate.

what are the benefits of hiring a doula?

Some of the benefits of hiring a doula are:

what is the difference between a midwife and a doula?

A midwife is medically trained and can deliver babies in hospitals, homes and birthing centers. A doula, doesn’t replace your health care practitioner but supports you and your partner throughout labor and birth. A postpartum doula provides support after the birth of your new baby.

Does postpartum care come with your birthing services?

My birth service package includes two pre-natal visits and one postpartum visit. Additional postpartum care can be booked separately.
